Join the dynamic team at Orchard Academy, a vibrant transitional program designed for students aged 17-21. Our students engage in a balanced schedule spending half of their day in engaging instruction and the other half gaining invaluable experience through internships. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and enhancing student learning. Pay $20.75/hr. 

Paraprofessional Description:

• Providing instructional and clerical support to teachers.
• Assisting students with class materials using tailored lesson plans and offering individualized attention both inside and outside the classroom.
• Preparing instructional materials, activities, and displays that inspire creativity and engagement.

Paraprofessional Requirements:

• Two years of experience in Special Education.
• A valid Illinois Paraprofessional Certification.
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Valid driver’s license (minimum of 3 years) with a good driving record (staff will be required to drive).
• Must complete a bus driving class.
• Must pass drug test that includes marijuana.
