ServiceMaster Restoration By Simons is a women-owned and family run company that is MBE/WBE Certified providing Water & Fire Damage Restoration for Chicago, Oak Park-River Forest and emergency cleaning services in Chicago’s North Shore, including eastern Lake County.We provide disaster restoration services for damages caused by water, fire, flooding, mold remediation, and a wide range of interior specialty cleaning (hoarder/clutter, post construction, carpet & upholstery) to residential and commercial customers. Part-Time Administrative Assistant
The ideal candidate will demonstrate friendliness, confidence, professionalism, superb communication (phone) skills, the ability to troubleshoot, multi-task, and prioritize daily tasks. Strength in taking charge and the ability to meet short deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the Lead Project Manager and Owners on all office functions.
  • Must have stellar phone skills and be able to dispatch and route calls.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable/collections in QuickBooks.
  • Responsible for assisting with accounts payable.
  • Coordinating and updating schedule on a daily basis.
  • Must have some sales experience to book cleaning jobs when customers call.
  • Schedule/book appointments, route jobs in customer management system.
  • Coordination with Crew Chief on jobs.
  • Assist Lead Project Manager/Marketing Manager with Constant Contact campaigns & digital newsletters.
  • Maintain filing and scanning of documents.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Quickbooks, with ability to learn new customer management systems and estimating software.
  • Ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Light office cleaning, tidying, and re-stocking supplies.
  • Great candidates will schedule a sample phone interview to assess phone skills.
  • Hours are flexible, 25-35 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2/3pm with the ability to work longer depending on schedule load.
  • Must submit to a background check and drug test.
Experience:  BA or equivalent experience. 3-5 years minimum in an office environment. 2 years minimum sales experience.
Job Type Part-time 25-35 hrs per week, ability to transition into full-time position.
Pay Rate $14-$16 per hr. depending upon experience.
